We have just learned that the Ministry of Education has cancelled the January administration session of the Grades 10 and 12 Provincial Graduation Assessments, due to the ongoing challenges presented by the pandemic. They have shared, and it is important to note, that no Grade 12 students who are on track to graduate in the 2021/2022 school year will be impacted by this cancellation. We understand from the Ministry that further information on upcoming session will be provided by mid-February.
Today was the last day of regularly scheduled semester 1 classes. Next week will be an Alternate Schedule where students will have the opportunity to see teachers as needed and complete any assignments, projects, tests for semester 1 classes. There are also a variety of learning opportunities scheduled for this week such as tutorial sessions, grade 8 science fair, provincial assessment preparation, physical health sessions, dance sessions and more. Please see the revised schedule to next week’s learning activities being offered. Semester 2 classes will begin on Monday, January 31st.
