Byrne Creek Community School opened its doors to the community and students in 2005.
We are the first secondary community school in the Burnaby School District and are able to offer enhanced services and opportunities for our students and families. We are also the only school in Canada to have been awarded the ASCD Vision In Action: Whole Child Award for the work we have done ensuring our students are healthy, safe, engaged, supported and academically challenged.
Byrne Creek Bulldogs are determined, courageous, and committed to H.E.A.R.T. – Honesty, Empathy, Achievement, Respect, and Teamwork. Our students are engaged learners who achieve and contribute to their school, community and world. Our staff are dedicated professionals who believe strongly in giving students every possible opportunity. Our parents are connected and engaged partners who make meaningful contributions to the school.
