Community Council AGM – June 6, 2022 at 7:00pm via Zoom

Please join us for our last Community Council meeting of the school year and our AGM! This important meeting covers review of 2021-2022 and election of our Community Council Executive for the 2022-2023 school year. All parents and guardians of children attending Byrne Creek Community School are invited to attend and are entitled to vote at the meeting. We have also extended an invitation to all grade seven parents attending our catchment schools.

We are accepting nominations for Executive positions in the Community Council. Any parent is welcome to put their name forward and you are welcome to share the role with another parent. On the spot nominations will be accepted at the meeting as well. Parents of children registered with the school for next year can also be nominated for a position (e.g. new families and current grade 7 parents whose children will be attending Byrne next year).

Our executive roles must be filled in order for our school to receive BC Gaming Grant funding (just under $20,000 per year).
